Attending mum and baby classes is as much for mum's benefit as it is baby's - if not more so!
The chance to make new mum friends, find your 'mum tribe', and share your experience with your new baby can make such a positive difference. Being a mum of a young baby, whether it's your first or not, can feel lonely and confusing at times. We all need the reassurance of others going through the same experience as us some times!
Whilst newborn baby's need very little stimulation, as a baby grows and becomes more mobile they will relish the sights and sounds of a baby class. My baby classes in Dorking are age-appropriate and baby-led so you can stop and tend to your baby's needs at any time.
Support for new mum's starts in the newborn phase with my Early Days course. This is mum-centred so there is lots of time to chat with other new mums and each week we'll discuss a topic such as baby's sleep or postnatal recovery.
Then a lovely course for baby's from 8 weeks old is Baby Massage. This course is such a lovely calming space to bond with your baby whilst learning gentle massage techniques to soothe them and support sleep.
As your baby develops you may enjoy a livelier class like Baby Yoga & Rhyme or Mum & Baby Yoga where you actually get to do some exercise yourself!
I also offer Postnatal Yoga if you'd like a class just for mum's where you can leave the baby at home!
If you aren't sure which class is right for you do email me: birthandmoreltd@gmail.com
