An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a professional who is highly trained and qualified to help parents and babies with breastfeeding. The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) certifies IBCLCs, and the certification is considered the highest-regarded professional qualification for breastfeeding knowledge and support.
